Fall Swim Lessons

Service Description

Weekly 1 hour swim lessons for 8 weeks. These swim lessons will follow the Montessori principles of following each child's skills and readiness for skill building. The lessons will include skills such as confidence and comfort in the water, front float, back float, breath holding, opening eyes under water (with goggles), jumping into water, swimming under water, front crawl, back crawl, bobbing to safety, locating exit points form pool, and checking in with adults. Parents are encouraged to watch from outside of the pool and are welcome to join in the last 15 minutes. Children should be prepared with a swim suit, goggles and towels.
